The gaming sector continues to grow, with ever-more innovative technology and demand from gamers. This international developer is a global leader, with a portfolio of blockbuster games which are favourites amongst millions worldwide.
Operating from offices across the world, the brand is headquartered in the USA and develops, publishes and distributes content for consoles, mobile and PC in countless international markets. Adding to its UK presence, the brand is opening a new branch office in central Manchester which will be home to teams including developers, programmers and administrative staff for Europe.
CatonLloyd worked alongside our integrator partner to plan and implement a corporate-grade audio visual installation throughout the sleek new office space, including gaming area, digital signage screens and video conferencing to support communications between worldwide offices.
Project Brief
From the commencement of this project, our technology integrator partner worked together with the client team to identify the scope of audio visual works and the project schedule for CatonLloyd’s installation. Creating an engaging reception area, games area, foyer and meeting room, each space performed a different function which combined allowed the client team to collaborate, explore, communicate and inform.
Championing the client’s values to have fun, to constantly move forward and to put the player first, the audio visual scheme created for this project included digital signage to promote brand messages and the brand’s portfolio, whilst a roomy games area allows the team to optimise its work and reliable meeting room video conferencing technology creates open and easy-to-use communications channels with colleagues internationally.
Immersive gaming, AV, meeting room & digital signage installation by CatonLloyd
CatonLloyd’s specialist team of audio visual engineers delivered the on site installation for this project, managed by our experienced Project Engineer from installation and testing through to commissioning and support for the client’s team as required.
Completed over 4 days, work included the installation of digital signage display screens on pull-out brackets to the reception and foyer areas, installation of games area into a bespoke cabinet, and full meeting room audio visual installation with a specification including room booking system, displays and wireless connectivity.
CatonLloyd’s complete audio visual, meeting room, gaming and digital signage installation included:
- Cisco Kit Plus meeting room system incorporating Quad camera, table microphone and Apple TV wireless connectivity for crystal clear communications nationally and internationally
- Dual wall-mounted 65” NEC commercial display screens in the meeting room, enabling presentations and training with colleagues in other branch offices
- Evoko Liso room booking panel allowing room bookings to be made via Outlook and ad-hoc
- 75” 4K HDR display screen mounted into bespoke kiosk cabinet in games area for optimal image quality, together with Sennheiser sound bar for exceptional 3D audio experiences
- Integrated into the other side of the kiosk is a 75” display screen on pull-out bracket, forming a digital signage system with Brightsign HD244 digital signage player in high definition 4K
- 65” display screen in reception area, again supporting digital signage content via Brightsign HD224 allowing for online updates via Brightsign
