Located in Oxfordshire at the heart of the British automotive sector, this global car manufacturer develops a bestseller brand from its UK plant which is enjoyed the world over.
The internationally-recognised automotive brand is headquartered in Germany, with the huge Oxford plant in the UK responsible for the development and assembly of specific models within its popular range. The complex hosts manufacturing facilities as well as corporate offices, and completed vehicles are shipped from this important employment site to dealerships and consumers worldwide.
Appointed by our technology integrator partner, CatonLloyd planned and installed a sleek meeting room and conferencing suite at the Oxford site to support collaborative working and exceptional communications between teams, stakeholders and partners around the world.
CatonLloyd’s technology integrator partner, together with our installation team, worked alongside the end user client to plan a sophisticated, corporate grade, yet user friendly, audio visual system for this meeting room and conferencing suite. The design needed to meet a versatile range of needs, including delivery of presentations and training as well as providing a stable communications platform using Microsoft Teams for colleagues nationally and internationally.
Making good use of the large room’s space, the audio visual design created for this installation included large, dual display screens supported by floor-mounted poles, professional ceiling-mounted microphones, quality HD camera, and simple touchscreen controls operated from anywhere in the room, together delivering a complete Cisco Webex audio visual installation package that colleagues can use straight away.
Enterprise-grade meeting room & conference suite audio visual installation by CatonLloyd
CatonLloyd’s technical team, led by our experienced Project Manager, worked on site to complete this professional audio visual installation, including commissioning and testing to ensure a trouble-free integration into the client’s operations.
Works comprised equipment upgrades to the client’s comms rack to support the new technology installed, as well as installation of pole-mounted display screens, cameras, microphones and integration of touchscreen controls into the meeting room system.

- Leading enterprise-grade and secure Cisco Webex meeting room system delivering seamless video and audio calls, meetings, messaging and interactive events with a vast attendee capacity
- Webex integration with operating systems including Microsoft, Apple and Google products
- Dual floor-mounted 75” display screens delivering high definition, 4K visual experiences for meetings, training, presentations and events
- Sennheiser TeamConnect ceiling-mounted microphones featuring automatic beamforming and voice detection, allowing those speaking to move freely around the room whilst remaining clearly heard
- Central comms rack, upgraded to feature Extron controls and offering wireless controls and wired connectivity for room users
- High definition 4K video conferencing camera system by leading manufacturer for exceptionally robust visual clarity
